„Nagyapám, Király Béla festőművész műtermében szívtam magamba a festészet alapjait. Még ma is, amikor az olajfesték jellegzetes illatát megérzem felelevenednek a régi élmények, és az ecset szinte önálló életre kel a kezemben. Miután Zalába kerültem, a keszthelyi Dókus Eörs festőművésznél tanultam mint magántanuló. A hosszú évek munkája során az impresszionizmus kiválóságai voltak és lesznek példaképeim. Valahányszor bárhol megpillantom egy-egy képüket újra megbizonyosodom arról, hogy nem tudnám elképzelni bármi mással foglalkozzam.

A fényt próbálom megfesteni. Ecsettel vagy késsel, vászonra, vagy fára, a lényeg a megörökítése. Ahogy mindent életre kelt, és az árnyékával közös táncból megszületik: A látvány. A látvány célja pedig nem más, mint a szemlélő örömének fokozása, valami "több" átadása. Nos erre törekszem én.”

I learned the basics of painting in my grandfather, Király Béla painter's studio. Even today, when I feel the characteristic smell of oil paint, the old experiences revive, and the brush comes to its own life in my hands. I studied as a private student at Dókus Eörs painter. During the long years of work the excellences of Impressionism were and become my examples. Whenever I see one of their painting anywhere make me sure again that I could not imagine anything else dealing with.

I try to paint the light. With knife or brush, on canvas or wood, the point is the capture. As everything came to life, and with the common dance of the shadow is born: the spectacle.

The aim of spectacle is nothing other than to enhance the viewer's pleasure, to transfer something "more". Well I strive for this.
